Weber County in Ogden, UT seeks a full-time maintenance worker at the Golden Spike Event Center. The role covers semi-skilled and unskilled cleaning, building construction, alteration, maintenance, and repairs under supervision.

PERSONNEL STATUS: Full Time
Under the close supervision of an administrative superior, performs a variety of semi-skilled and unskilled cleaning and building construction, alteration, landscaping, maintenance, and repair work.

Education: High school graduation or equivalent.
Experience: One (1) year of experience involving manual skills related to Building Construction, Alteration, Maintenance, and Repair Work.
Knowledge: Working knowledge of the standard methods, practices, tools, and materials used in a variety of building maintenance functions.
Skills: Skilled in the use of motorized vehicles and equipment, including dump truck, pickup truck, utility truck, snow removal equipment, pumps, compressors, sanders, generators, common hand and power tools, shovels, wrenches, detection devices, mobile radio, phone.
Abilities: Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments, and the general public.
