Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Cleveland, Ohio invites a motivated student or early-career engineer to assist with field observations of existing facilities and building science projects. You will gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include roofing, waterproofing, fireproofing, EIFS, testing, coring, sampling, leak investigations, and forensic studies, while coordinating with site contractors and project managers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or related field.
• Interest in building forensics, mechanical systems, and structures.
• Must be able to lift 40–70 lbs several times a day, occasional 85 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation to job sites; mileage will be reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field observations of existing facilities.
• Perform facilities-related services including roofing, waterproofing, fireproofing, EIFS, anchor testing, coring, scanning, sampling, leak investigations, and forensic investigations.
• Interact and communicate effectively with site contractors, other technicians, and project managers.
