Qualifications

Demonstrated technical understanding of high performance building Mechanical and Enclosure systems.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Certified Passive House Consultant (Phius). Experience to include: WUFI Passive (and/or METr), THERM modeling, develop building geometry from plans in SketchUp, and submitting Phius projects for Design and Final Certification.
Energy Modeling. Perform advanced energy modeling analysis for commercial and residential buildings primarily using OpenStudio/Energy Plus in accordance with ASHRAE Standards.
Perform energy savings and lifecycle cost analyses of energy saving measures related to the building enclosure, lighting, HVAC, plug loads, and building energy management systems.
Perform excel based calculations utilizing engineering principles.
Develop and write reports that detail building components as well as describe energy efficiency measures to improve design and control for new and existing facilities.
Performing on-site inspections and testing involving visual observation and diagnostic testing of building performance issues, enclosure/mechanical system failures.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based file management tools.
