Job summary

Nashville General Hospital is seeking a Full Time Building Operations Mechanic to support the Facilities Management team in Nashville, Tennessee. The role maintains plumbing, HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems, following SOPs and safety policies to ensure reliable building operations.

The candidate will troubleshoot and repair facilities components and contribute to improving facility efficiency and workflow. Healthcare experience is preferred and standard benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of related work experience required (working in healthcare preferred).
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Trade school or other work experience.

Nashville General Hospital is hiring a Full Time Building Operations Mechanic for our Facilities Management team in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Building Operations Mechanic participates in the duties of maintaining a variety of plumbing, heating, air conditioning, mechanical and electrical systems for on‑site buildings. Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs facilities mechanical components and electrical systems in accordance with SOPs (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications and safety policies.
