Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an on-site role in San Diego, CA. The job covers general interior and exterior building maintenance, preventive work orders, minor mechanical, electrical and plumbing repairs, and related tasks such as painting, moving furniture and facility upkeep.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Performs general interior and exterior building maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repair work orders for minor mechanical, electrical, and plumbing tasks.
• Completes special tasks including painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, cleaning, and general maintenance.
• Maintains and repairs plumbing components including toilets, urinals, lavatories and valves.
• Maintains and repairs locks, door components, and related hardware.
• Handles general office maintenance and moves furniture and equipment as needed.
• Maintains light bulbs and ballasts; primes and paints interior and exterior surfaces.
• Ensures safety and compliance with applicable codes and policies.
• Attends safety meetings and updates work order statuses as required.

Assisting Maintenance Technician

Job Description Summary:

Essential Functions:

• o Performs general interior and exterior building maintenance. Includes preventative maintenance and repair work orders for minor mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs.
• o Completes special tasks that include painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, special cleaning, and general maintenance as assigned
• o Maintain and repair plumbing components including toilets, urinals, lavatories, flush valves
• o Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, door closer, doors, controllers
• o General office maintenance - hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems
• o Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requested
• o Maintain light bulbs and ballast.
• o Prepare, prime and paint building interior and exterior surfaces.
• o Recognizes danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
• o Maintains compliance with State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
• o Complete all required safety training as scheduled
• o Comply with all policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• o Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license (if mobile).
• o Updates work order status in real time.
• o Escalates problems or issues to team in a timely manner.
• o Attends work and safety meetings as required.
• o Experience in controlled working environments a plus.
• o All other duties and tasks assigned.

Requirements:

• o Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• o The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.
• o Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• o The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects that may be 25+ pounds.
• o The ability to see and hear details in order to identify and diagnose problems.

Schedule: Hours are Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM

Expected compensation for this position: 45,400.00 – 55,400.00 USD per year Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
