Carter Lumber seeks a Sales Support Associate to back up Sales Specialists and Outside Sales Representatives by processing orders, scheduling deliveries, and ensuring timely, accurate service for customers in the assigned region.

The role requires previous building materials sales experience, a friendly, outgoing personality, strong communication, and teamwork. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential to prepare quotes and track orders.

Responsibilities

• Enter and place orders to assist Sales Specialists
• Handle incoming services and schedule orders
• Work with software to revise quotes and small projects
• Ensure all sales orders are placed and delivered on time
• Communicate with vendors for discounts and processing
• Maintain open communication between Sales teams and customers
• Identify growth needs and seek product information
• Complete required training and development courses
