Job summary

ABC Supply Interiors in Gloucester City, NJ seeks a dependable Helper / Stocker to support delivery operations. You will assist in safe handling of building materials from warehouse to delivery sites, follow safety rules, and help prepare orders for on-time arrival.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 250 lbs with assistance, operate forklift after training, and stand or move throughout shifts. A commitment to reliability and accuracy is essential; benefits include health/dental/vision after

Qualifications

• Knowledge of applicable building material products preferred.
• Ability to unload, transport and position building materials as required.
• Ability to follow safe methods for transporting material from delivery vehicle (stairs, elevators, boom).
• Willingness to be trained and licensed/certified by ABC Supply Interiors to operate forklift equipment.
• Must be able to stand, climb, reach, bend and twist throughout shift.
• Ability to consistently lift and carry 250 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Follow all applicable safety rules and procedures.
• Accurately distribute and place all specified building materials as indicated on the order ticket.
• Examine and record all material transported to and from the delivery site.
• Verify and record the quantity and type of building materials being handled.
• Ensure delivered products are neatly placed and presentable at the site.
• Clean up debris from the delivery process and dispose of it properly before leaving.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Assist with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and loading/unloading at jobsites as assigned.
