Job summary

Non-CDL drivers operate vehicles 10,001-26,000 pounds and serve as the customer liaison on each delivery. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 21+ years old, a valid driver’s license, pass an MVR check, and the ability to read, write and speak

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Proven ability to read, write and speak English.
• Basic math and measurement skills for loads.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure goods in the delivery vehicle.
• Deliver orders to customer sites and unload safely.
• Verify orders and log delivery details and mileage.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform safety checks.
• Use hand held devices for DVIR and HOS compliance.
• Operate forklift or equipment to load/unload as needed.
