Job summary

Capitol Building Supply, Inc. is seeking a delivery driver to operate a commercial vehicle safely and deliver freight to job sites with excellent customer service. You will load and unload materials, maintain compliance records, and communicate professionally with customers and team members.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, a clean three-year MVR, and knowledge of DOT regulations. This on-site role emphasizes safety and teamwork within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report.
• Must have knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck and trailer for defects to ensure safe operation.
• Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom trucks and unload at sites.
• Deliver materials to assigned areas as directed by customers while prioritizing safety.
• Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain records required for compliance with regulations.
• Report all accidents involving driver or equipment.
• Lift heavy materials up to 80 lbs. for loading/unloading.
• Provide excellent customer service with a professional attitude.
