Job summary

KDC-ONE is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician for Chemaid facilities in Saddle Brook, NJ. The role focuses on general building maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment in a fast-paced production setting.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, manage logs and inventories, and coordinate with outside contractors when needed. Requires high school diploma or GED and 5-7 years of experience; non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of general machine and building maintenance.
• Combination of vocational training, education and experience that provides required knowledge and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, machinery, and industrial equipment (forklifts, power jacks etc.).
• Maintain lighting, HVAC, air compressors, chillers, boilers, plumbing, cleaning, painting, and light carpentry.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of mixers, pumps, tanks, piping, and production support systems.
• Maintain logbooks and scheduled maintenance checklists.
• Maintain and monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and materials.
• Identify and resolve maintenance, equipment repairs and safety issues and follow through to completion.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
