AA2IT is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Indianapolis to service assigned buildings and equipment. You will perform basic upkeep, repairs, and preventive maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC-related tasks.

The role involves driving a CBRE van between locations, wearing provided uniform, and maintaining safety and professional communication with clients. This backfill contract runs through 11/17/2026 with potential to convert to full-time for the right account

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical skills.
  • 1–2 years of relevant maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility systems.
  • Assist with installation and modification of building equipment.
  • Review work orders and estimate time/materials to complete repairs.
  • Support energy management by ensuring systems operate efficiently.
  • Inspect installations for codes and safety compliance.
  • Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
  • Follow defined procedures under supervision.

About the Role

As a Mobile Technician, you will perform repairs and tend to several buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and ground requests. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.
  • Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
  • Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
