Job summary

The Lodge at Blue Sky, Auberge Collection, in Park City, Utah, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician / Engineer for PM shift. The role covers all building repairs, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, carpentry, and safe workflow management to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include electrical motor troubleshooting, HVAC and refrigeration work, and quick response to guest requests, with ability to work evenings and weekends in a luxury, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year hands-on experience with electrical motors, HVAC, and refrigeration.
• Ability to read and follow technical assembly instructions for equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality experience preferred; ability to work evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical motors.
• Troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot plumbing.
• Safely fill propane tanks.
• Repair door locks.
• Keep work area safe and clean.
• Use power tools safely (pressure washers, compressors).
• Repair gas-fired equipment.
• Repair electronic equipment including office/AV systems.
• Respond to guest requests within 15 minutes of notification.
• Respond to emergencies.
• Follow safety procedures.

Description

SUMMARY

All technical and non-technical buildings and grounds repairs. Troubleshooting and/or repairs of all electrically ran motors and devices. Troubleshooting and/or repair of all H.V.A.C systems including, refrigeration devices, minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, and minor automotive repairs. Completion of all assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Technical electrical motor troubleshooting and/or repair
• H.V.A.C. and refrigeration troubleshooting and/or repair
• Technical plumbing troubleshooting and/or repair
• Safely filling propane tanks
• Door lock repairs
• Leave all work in a safe and clean condition
• Use of all power tools safely, including pressure washers and compressors
• Gas fired equipment repair
• Troubleshooting and/or repair of electronic equipment to include all office and audio visual equipment
• Respond to all Guest Requests within fifteen-minutes of notification
• Respond to all emergency or life threatening situations
• Follow established safety procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 1 year hands on experience with electrical motors, H.V.A.C. systems, and refrigeration systems. Must be familiar with troubleshooting and/or repairs of such.
• Experience with power tools use and safety.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions on assembly of mechanical equipment and furniture.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hospitality experience preferred.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
