Job summary

Albertsons Companies in California is seeking a maintenance technician to join our fast-paced distribution center team. You will ensure equipment operates safely and perform routine maintenance across hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC systems, while applying current technology and procedures.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting building systems, repairing racking and lighting, maintaining repair orders, and following safety policies.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience or training required.
• Strong background in electrical, refrigeration, plumbing and general building repairs.
• Must provide own tools and be able to operate standard maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment operates safely; perform maintenance across hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC systems.
• Perform daily inspections of doors, docks, and support areas; troubleshoot and repair problems.
• Repair racking; replace batteries and lighting; maintain refrigeration systems as needed.
• Maintain complete repair order records and follow company safety procedures.
• Work in a warehouse environment with potential exposure to hazards and temperature variations.
• Follow policies and contribute to a safe, honest work environment.
