Job summary

Blackberry Farm is seeking a Building Maintenance Tech in Walland, TN to maintain the exterior appearance of all buildings and common areas. You will perform pressure washing, window cleaning, painting touch-ups, fence repairs, rooftop gutter cleaning, cobweb removal, mold/mildew treatment, and general maintenance while ensuring safety and adherence to company standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and may benefit from vocational training related to the position.

Building Maintenance Tech will be responsible for maintenance, cleanliness, and five-star appearance of the exterior portions of all buildings on the property.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Pressure Washing
• Cleaning inside/outside windows
• Minimal Painting
• Fence Repair
• Cleaning Rooftops and gutters
• Removing cobwebs from the exterior of buildings
• Some mold and mildew treatment
• Some general maintenance

Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
Regular and consistent attendance is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• None

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Should have some vocational courses related to the position

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Must be able to communicate clearly with management, team members, and Blackberry Farm guests in an informative and consistent manner.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Knowledge and understanding of basic math

REASONING ABILITY

• The ability to think outside the box and to place interim measures in effect to minimize downtime of essential services
• Must be able to troubleshoot various systems, with the objective being to repair and reduce downtime for guests and employees

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environments regardless of temperature or weather.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work will primarily be assigned for all interior and exterior portions of all buildings, common areas, grounds, and trails, but work location can vary and can incorporate any area of the property
