Job summary

Palacios Marine & Industrial Coatings, Inc. is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to support commercial and industrial facility upkeep, renovations, and repairs.

You will perform painting, drywall, carpet work, and general remodeling with a focus on quality workmanship in a safe environment. Candidates should have prior maintenance or remodeling experience and be capable of working independently or in teams.

Qualifications

• Previous building maintenance, construction, remodeling, or facility maintenance experience required
• Industrial or power plant experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as needed
• Must pass extensive background screening and drug testing
• Must be willing and able to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, rain, and other outdoor conditions

We are seeking motivated and dependable Building Maintenance Technicians to support commercial and industrial facility maintenance, renovation, and repair projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with general building maintenance, remodeling, and repair activities and be committed to delivering quality workmanship in a safe and professional manner.

Requirements

As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will perform a variety of maintenance and renovation tasks, including:

• Painting interior and exterior building surfaces
• Drywall repair, patching, and replacement
• Carpet removal and installation
• General remodeling and facility improvement projects
• Basic carpentry and repair work
• Assisting with facility maintenance and upkeep
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Performing other commercial and industrial maintenance duties assigned
