SUMMARY

Maintain entire facility, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs.

Essential Functions:

  1. Conducts walk-throughs and visually assesses the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structure(s) of the location, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment.
  2. Verifies completion of all routine maintenance on public spaces, meeting rooms, outlets, back of the house spaces, and grounds.
  3. Verifies completion of all repairs, replacement, and renovation projects in all areas.
  4. Maintains effective Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs and conducts special training for other operating departments on the safe and efficient use of equipment and energy.
  5. Performs necessary repairs and maintenance.
  6. Actively trains in fire prevention, environmental health and safety, and engineering systems.
  7. Attends all meetings regarding hotel operations, i.e., department, fire, safety, health and quality improvement.
  8. Maintains cleanliness and neatness of fitness equipment and facility.
  9. Ensures a pleasant visit for each guest; maintains effective guest relations.
  10. Performs special projects delegated by management.
  11. Stays updated on latest developments pertinent to the department as well as the location.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Demonstrated outstanding customer service. Must possess willingness to learn and perform new engineering programs, excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive and motivation. Flexibility with schedule with evenings and weekend work required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and interpret retail product labeling. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Pay Range: $16.66 - $30.00
