Job summary

Seattle Children’s seeks an assistant for building trades to support maintenance and repair of equipment, buildings and grounds. You will collaborate with skilled trades to ensure reliable operations across hospital facilities.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus 3+ years in construction, installation, or maintenance of mechanical/electrical systems. NFPA 70E qualification within 3 months is required; licensed electricians credentials and hospital maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; minimum education.
• NFPA 70E within 3 months of hire date.
• Preferred: hospital or medical equipment maintenance experience.
• Current City of Seattle Electricians 07 License; MedGas 6040; UST Class C.

Job description

Assist building trades persons with the performance of the necessary duties for the maintenance and repair of the equipment, buildings, and grounds.

Required Education And Experience

High school diploma or equivalent experience. Minimum of three (3) years experience in construction, installation, or maintenance of mechanical and/or electrical systems and equipment.

Required Credentials

NFPA 70E within 3 months of hire date

Preferred

At least five (5) years experience in construction, installation, or maintenance of mechanical and/or electrical systems and equipment Hospital or medical equipment maintenance experience Current City of Seattle Electricians 07 License MedGas 6040 Quick Study UST Class C

Compensation Range

$32.70 - $59.50 per hour

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
