Job summary

MMS Group is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician in Philadelphia, PA to support upkeep of apartment homes and unit turns. This full-time role requires 3+ years of residential maintenance, a valid driver's license, and HVAC experience. Tasks include general maintenance, repairs, flooring installation, and emergency response.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of residential multifamily property maintenance experience.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Regular Maintenance: Maintain residential apartment homes and other areas on the property, including building exteriors, interiors, and public areas, regularly.
• Repairs: Perform small appliance, plumbing, electrical, and other repairs in residential apartments and other areas of the property.
• Installation: Install tile and laminate flooring
• Emergency Response: Take part in the on-call rotation schedule, responding to emergency calls according to the company's policy on after-hour emergency calls
• Unit Turnover: Manage the turnover of empty apartment units, including repairs (e.g., sheetrock, taping, sanding, painting, and fixing doors, windows, light fixtures, etc.).
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as outlined in the job description.

Our Maintenance technicians are responsible for the maintenance operations related to apartment home upkeep and unit turns.
