Job description

Title: Building Maintenance Technician

Duration: 6+ months Contract

Pay rate: $17/hr on w2

Location: Dallas, TX 75243

Shift timings: Mon - Thu 8 AM - 5.30 PM and Fri - 8 AM - 12 PM

BG/DT required: Yes

Job Description:

• Perform a wide range of independently managed maintenance and repair work on facilities, systems, and structures (i.e., replacement of hardware, light fixtures, baseboards, molding, appliances, etc.)
• Assemble, install or repair plumbing fixtures and maintain bathroom fixtures (i.e., showers, toilets, faucets, water supply and drain lines, etc.)
• Replace electrical switches, circuit breakers, outlets, light fixtures, and electrical appliances under supervision of DHA's Master Electrician
• Prepare vacant housing units for occupancy; including repair, cleaning, and interior painting and general maintenance, etc.
• Repair or replace doors, door hardware, locks, cabinets, windows, flooring, roofing, pipe systems and more.
