POSITION SUMMARY: The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for carpentry, pest control, painting, general upkeep and repair, landscaping, mechanical, and HVAC maintenance tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

1. Perform repairs including carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, drywall work, partition wall installation/removal, floor tiling, fixture replacement, and network cable installation.
2. Inspect buildings and lot for repairs and recommend actions to management.
3. Operate vehicles, service trucks, and snow plows to maintain and plow the dealership lot.
4. Inspect and maintain equipment such as hoists, doors, HVAC systems, fire extinguishers, plumbing fixtures, paint booth filters, furnaces, grinders, and eye-wash stations.
5. Maintain floor scrubbers as needed.
6. Perform landscaping tasks like mowing, trimming, and sprinkler maintenance.
7. Clean and maintain waste oil furnaces, parts washers, and air hoses in service departments.
8. Carry out electrical and plumbing repairs as needed.
9. Help keep the dealership clean and organized, including restroom maintenance, garbage removal, snow removal, and tire disposal.
10. Replace light bulbs and ballasts throughout the dealership.
11. Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and replacement parts inventory.

Previous electrical, plumbing, or handyman skills are preferred.
