• Performs sweeping, trimming, mopping, dusting, window cleaning, vacuuming, and similar duties.

Job description

$45,078-$65,172, Until filled hours-6:30a.m.-3:00 p.m. Full-time position, that maintains, cleans, and repairs all public buildings, grounds, and property. This includes trees, plants, shrubbery, lawns, pavement, sidewalks, roadways, buildings, structures, shoveling and appurtenances. Use, operate and maintain tools and equipment for accomplishing the work. Perform tasks associated with the municipality’s operations. Maintaining building’s interior and exterior to exceed safety and cleanliness expectations which may include, sweeping, trimming, mopping, dusting, window cleaning, vacuuming, and many other like tasks. This includes, but is not limited to pick-up, delivery, and transportation. Maintain records and make reports. Maintain and operate the HVAC system, consisting of four (4) boilers, three (3) air handlers and three (3) sets of compressors. Office space set up. Senior Custodians are also expected to supervise employees, without additional compensation. This is a unionized position.
