Goldman Properties Philadelphia is seeking a Building Maintenance Engineer to inspect, operate, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in our commercial spaces.

The role requires 2–5 years of maintenance experience, ability to read schematics, and the capability to lift 50 lbs; weekend and on-call rotation may be involved. Comprehensive benefits follow 90 days, with competitive pay and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience in commercial or institutional maintenance.
• Plumbing, electrical, light carpentry, and painting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders.
• Perform light repairs to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems; include preventative maintenance.
• Change light bulbs, door locks, and ceiling tiles as needed.
• Paint surfaces; scrape, spackle, sand, and fill cracks.
• Manage maintenance materials; keep shop area clean.
• Support weekend work as needed and participate in on-call rotation.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders.
