Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a Building Maintenance Associate to manage day-to-day maintenance and preventative programs for assigned buildings. You will ensure safe, comfortable environments for tenants and deliver strong customer service.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, an unrestricted driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent; on-call availability 24/7 is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in a related field, or equivalent education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and roof preventative maintenance.
• Respond to tenant work orders and complaints promptly.
• Coordinate inspections and routine testing of fire protection systems.
• Report problems to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Be available for on-call emergencies 24/7.

Description

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is looking for a dedicated Building Maintenance Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and scheduled preventative maintenance programs for assigned buildings. Accountable for ensuring that the buildings are well maintained and provide tenants a comfortable and safe environment. A solid customer service philosophy towards tenants is paramount.

What You'll Do

• Ensure scheduling and/or completions of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and roof preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Ensures timely response to and completions of tenant work orders and complaints.
• Coordinates proper inspections and routine testing of fire protection systems and equipment.
• Reports problems or discrepancies to supervisor in a timely manner.
• This position requires availability and/or on-call status for 24/7 for emergencies.

General Requirements

• EDUCATION: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years’ previous experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
