Job summary

NCG Hospitality’s Courtyard Happy Valley Phoenix North is seeking a Building Maintenance Assistant to join a top workplace environment. The role supports daily property upkeep and responds to maintenance requests, helping ensure guest comfort and safety. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of building maintenance experience and is available to work five 9:00 a.m.

– 5:00 p.m. shifts per week, including weekends; starting wage is $20 per hour with potential for higher compensation for

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year building maintenance experience
• General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building construction
• Operation knowledge of common power and hand tools
• Ability to perform task-oriented repetitive functions consistently, on-time and error-free
• Ability to be patient and creatively problem solve

Responsibilities

• Responds to maintenance requests and supports overall upkeep of the property
• Performs guest room preventative maintenance such as painting, battery replacement, smoke detector checks and HVAC cleaning
• Maintains grounds, landscaping, outbuildings and parking areas in a clean, safe and attractive manner
• Assists in maintaining pool, spa and general area according to local codes and brand standards
• Responds promptly to reports of guest problems and concerns

How You’ll Make An Impact

Our detail-oriented Building Maintenance Assistant responds to maintenance requests, and supports the overall upkeep of the property.

• Performs guest room preventative maintenance duties such as painting, battery replacement, smoke detector checks and HVAC cleaning
• Maintains the grounds, landscaping, outbuildings and parking areas in a clean, neat, safe and attractive manner

• Prior hotel, building or apartment maintenance experience is desirable, but not necessary
