Job summary

The Trade Hotel Milwaukee is seeking a Building Maintenance Assistant to support the property’s upkeep and guest comfort. This role welcomes applicants with or without prior hotel maintenance experience and offers growth within a dynamic team.

Starting pay ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, with higher wages for experienced candidates. Flexible weekend availability and open shifts help accommodate your schedule while contributing to a top workplace environment.

Qualifications

• Prior hotel, building or apartment maintenance experience is desirable, but not necessary
• General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building construction
• Operation knowledge of common power and hand tools
• Ability to perform task-oriented repetitive functions consistently, on-time and error free
• Ability to be patient and creatively problem solve

Responsibilities

• Performs guest room preventative maintenance duties such as painting, battery replacement, smoke detector checks and HVAC cleaning
• Maintains the grounds, landscaping, outbuildings and parking areas in a clean, neat, safe and attractive manner
• Assists in maintaining pool, spa and general area of the property according to specific local codes and brand standards
• Promptly responds to reports of guest problems and concerns

How You’ll Make An Impact

Our detail-oriented Building Maintenance Assistant responds to maintenance requests, and supports the overall upkeep of the property.
