Qualifications

• Experience with or exposure to Revit and/or Rhino.
• Ability to read architectural or mechanical drawings/blueprints.
• Interest in the BIM and VDC career path.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., Duration: 10–12 weeks in Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex BIM models using Revit and Rhino while supporting real project teams.
• Create and modify project models and participate in coordination meetings.
• Assist in identifying clashes and improving constructability through BIM coordination.

Are you currently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year program and looking to take what you've learned in the classroom into the real world? The Building Information Modeling (BIM) Internship at Enclos is your opportunity to get hands‑on experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) while supporting some of the most complex and recognizable building projects in the country.

This isn't a coffee‑run internship. You'll work alongside experienced designers, engineers, and project teams, developing complex models that help bring iconic architectural visions to life.

What You'll Experience

• Start with Training: Learn the fundamentals of curtainwall façade systems, BIM workflows, and the role of VDC in modern construction.
• Explore Digital Design: Gain exposure to design development, 3D modeling, coordination, and fabrication modeling.
• Get Hands‑On: Create and modify project models using Revit and Rhino while supporting real project teams.
• Participate in Coordination: Attend coordination meetings and learn how BIM models are used to identify clashes, solve design challenges, and improve constructability.

By the end of the internship, you'll have a strong foundation in BIM and VDC processes, real‑world modeling experience, and a deeper understanding of how digital technologies support the delivery of complex façade projects.

What We're Looking For

• Current enrollment (or recent graduate) in a 2- or 4-year program in Architectural Drafting, Mechanical Drafting, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with or exposure to Revit and/or Rhino.
• Ability to read architectural or mechanical drawings/blueprints.
• Interest in the Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) career path.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Curiosity, collaboration, and a passion for design and construction.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, between 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
• Duration: 10–12 weeks in Summer 2027
• Compensation: Paid internship, with potential to transition into a permanent role after graduation.
• Internship positions are not eligible for benefits, incentive bonus, or holiday pay.
