Job summary

The Building/Grounds Maintenance Technician at ON OUR OWN SERVICES INC is responsible for upkeep and repair of buildings on the property and the systems within. Responsibilities include fixing plumbing issues, replacing light bulbs, painting, carpentry, and routine preventive maintenance to keep building systems running smoothly.

Tasks include repairs inside/outside buildings, roof/window/doorwork, and grounds maintenance. Must be willing to learn and operate a cellphone for work coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience with general building maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to perform basic carpentry, painting, and plumbing tasks.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a variety of maintenance duties.

Responsibilities

• Repair inside/outside buildings and systems.
• Replace floor tiles and repair restroom stalls/doors.
• Paint interiors and exteriors of buildings.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines/buildings.
• Inspect, operate, and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Dismantle devices to access defective parts using hand/power tools.
• Communicate supply needs for projects with supervisor.
• Maintain grounds and assist with roof, window, and door repairs.
