Job summary

Warren CAT is seeking a Building / Grounds Maintenance II to provide general building and grounds maintenance services at Warren Equipment locations. The role includes preventive maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, wash rack, and compressor systems, as well as grounds upkeep and light construction tasks.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (or 1 year related experience), a proactive safety mindset, and the ability to pass Worksteps pre-employment testing.

Responsibilities

• Regular maintenance of facilities including electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general building maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, wash rack, and compressor systems at Warren Equipment locations.
• Maintain grounds, exterior lighting, parking lots, trash detail, wash rack repair, and sign repair.
• Perform small construction tasks such as painting, drywall patching, floor tile replacement, ceiling tile replacement, and lighting replacement.
• Housekeeping in electrical rooms, mechanical rooms, and compressor rooms.
• Set up and transport office furniture as needed.
• Assist Facilities leadership with special projects and duties.

The Building / Grounds Maintenance II Provides general building and grounds maintenance services.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Responsible for regular maintenance of facilities which includes electrical. systems, plumbing systems, HVAC systems, and general building maintenance.
• Performs preventive maintenance at Warren Equipment locations on electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC systems, wash rack systems, and compressor systems.
• Performs maintenance on grounds, exterior lighting, parking lots, trash detail at locations, wash rack repair, and sign repair.
• Performs small construction projects i.e. painting, drywall patching, floor tile, replacement, ceiling tile replacement, and lighting replacement.
• Performs housekeeping duties in electrical rooms, mechanical rooms, and compressor rooms.
• Sets up and transport furniture to locations for office personnel needs.
• Assists Facilities leadership with special projects and duties, as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset.
