Troubadour Golf & Field Club, located near Nashville, seeks a Cleaner to join the Facilities Department. The role focuses on keeping the clubhouse, public areas, and private homes spotless while delivering exceptional service to members and guests.

Starting pay is $21 per hour for a full-time, hourly position. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected as business demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 6 months+ housekeeping experience preferred.
• Experience in high-end residential or hospitality settings preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and safety practices.
• English reading/writing/speaking required; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of clubhouse and facilities.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and stock supplies.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Ensure public areas are clean and presentable.
• Clean and maintain furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Respond to special cleaning requests from management.
• Report maintenance or repair issues.
• Follow safety procedures and stay updated on best practices.
• Launder pool, spa, salon, and fitness linens.

Job description

This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Troubadour Golf & Field Club set outside of Nashville, Tennessee.

Troubadour Golf & Field Club is seeking a Cleaner to join the Facilities Department.

The Building & Facilities Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and inviting environment within our prestigious residential community. You will ensure that the clubhouse, public areas, amenities facilities, and private residential homes are well-maintained, presentable, and exceed the expectations of members and guests.

You will work closely with the Residential Services and Club Operations management team to deliver exceptional service and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

*** Full-time hourly role. Starting pay $21 per hour.***

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the clubhouse, including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and window cleaning.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and stocking supplies as needed.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring their availability for daily operations.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as required, ensuring proper disposal of waste.
• Ensure all public areas, including hallways, lobby, and common spaces, are consistently clean and presentable.
• Clean and maintain furniture, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring they are in good condition and free of damage or stains.
• Respond promptly to clubhouse management requests for immediate cleaning needs or special cleaning projects.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel, ensuring a safe and functional environment for residents and guests.
• Follow all established safety procedures and regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
• Stay updated on the latest industry practices and cleaning techniques to continuously improve performance and efficiency.
• Responsible for the day‑to‑day laundering of pool, spa & salon and fitness linen and terry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License
• At least 6 months of previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Proven experience in professional cleaning or housekeeping, preferably in a high‑end residential or hospitality setting.
• Excellent knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and best practices for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to apply them in the workplace.
• Safety conscious at all times in use of machinery and chemicals to avoid injury to self and others.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the clubhouse.

• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
• Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
