Job summary

Walker Consultants in Irvine, California, is seeking a Building Enclosure Consultant to provide expert building envelope services to clients. You will be the primary contact for projects, performing investigations and producing construction documents on projects that span new constructions and existing structures.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture, plus 5 or more years of waterproofing experience. Strong knowledge of exterior systems and materials is essential, along with a client-focused mindset and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building envelope consulting and waterproofing.
• Licensed Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE).
• Familiarity with ASTM & AAMA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform investigations related to the building envelope and prepare reports.
• Develop repair schemes and prepare opinion of probable construction costs.
• Assist in peer/office reviews of projects.
