Job summary

Raymond is seeking an experienced Building Envelope Consultant / Quality Assurance Observer (QAO) to support inspection, testing, and quality assurance on building envelope projects in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on roofing, waterproofing, wall systems, and related components to meet contract documents, specs, and industry standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• RRO certification from IIBEC with 3+ years of experience, or 5+ years of building envelope experience.
• Experience with roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspections of building envelope systems (roofing, waterproofing, masonry, curtain wall, EIFS, sealants, air barriers).
• Observe contractor work and identify deviations from contract documents and specs.
• Prepare daily inspection reports documenting site conditions, progress, and deficiencies.
