This internship blends field visits with office support, helping you learn to read drawings, prepare reports, and participate in site inspections. A Bachelor’s in a related field is preferred, with strong communication and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Interest in building envelope design, construction, inspection, and engineering.
• Basic understanding of building construction or architectural concepts is a plus.
• Willingness to learn to read and interpret drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM or other modeling/drafting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in field visits and construction site inspections with engineers and inspectors.
• Observe exterior wall and building envelope construction phases.
• Learn how envelope projects progress from design to construction.
• Assist with field reviews and documenting construction progress.
• Help review architectural and construction drawings and supporting documents.
• Support project teams with reporting and documentation.
