Job summary

NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC is seeking a Mid-Level Building Enclosure Consultant to join our Facilities & Building Enclosure Team in the Tampa, Florida area. This role will involve field investigations, inspections, and consulting on building enclosure systems.

The ideal candidate should have over 3 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related field. We offer competitive compensation and a supportive company culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in building enclosure, roofing, or waterproofing consulting.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
• Familiarity with applicable testing standards (ASTM, AAMA, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform visual building enclosure assessments and surveys.
• Assist with forensic evaluations of building enclosure systems.
• Conduct field testing of roofing, waterproofing, and curtain wall systems.
• Prepare concise and technically sound reports.

Skills

Field experience in building enclosure

Understanding of building enclosure systems

Technical report writing

Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field

Tools

Boom lift certification
