Field Verified is seeking a mid-level Building Envelope / Field Consultant to join our growing team. This role blends on-site field observations with technical review during design phases for commercial projects, requiring 3–8 years of relevant experience and comfort working both in the field and with construction documents.

You will perform field inspections of envelope systems, review drawings and specs, prepare clear reports, and communicate with contractors, architects, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of relevant construction, consulting, or inspection experience.
• Strong understanding of building envelope systems and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience in commercial construction environments preferred.
• Comfortable working in the field under varying site and weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of building envelope systems (roofing, waterproofing, facades, glazing).
• Conduct site visits on active projects (roofs, scaffolding, lifts).
• Review construction documents including plans, details, and specifications.
• Provide QA/QC observations and reporting.
• Communicate effectively with contractors, architects, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare clear, detailed written reports.
• Work independently while managing multiple projects.
