Job summary

Protouch Staffing is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer in Massachusetts to join our building envelope team. You will conduct field investigations, perform design calculations, evaluate building conditions, and support restoration projects.

Responsibilities include managing projects, coordinating with clients and subconsultants, preparing drawings and specifications, and contributing to business development while maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or similar accredited program.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Building Technology, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.
• EIT or E.I.T. registration required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform field investigations at existing and new construction sites.
• Conduct design calculations and engineering analysis.
• Evaluate building conditions and construction issues.
• Support building renovation and restoration projects.
• Research building materials, manufacturer systems, and products.
• Apply building codes and current industry standards.
• Prepare construction drawings, details, and specifications.
• Support forensic investigations of leaks and construction defects.
• Manage building envelope and structural engineering projects.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, clients, and subconsultants.
• Attend pre bid and pre construction meetings.
• Provide bid assistance and contractor coordination.
• Perform construction administration services.
• Provide contractor oversight and project support.
• Assist with project administration and client communication.
