Job summary

UES is seeking a motivated Facilities Engineer to join our team in Orlando, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and over five years of structural engineering experience. Responsibilities include evaluating building systems, conducting inspections, and preparing technical reports. Proficiency in CAD and structural design software is essential, along with effective communication skills. This role requires moderate travel and upholding safety protocols during on-site work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of structural engineering experience.
• PE licensure in progress or obtained, depending on state requirements.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• In-depth knowledge of building codes and material behavior.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility condition assessments and building envelope evaluations.
• Inspect and assess roofing, waterproofing, and structural systems.
• Prepare technical reports and repair recommendations.
• Support design and remediation projects.
