Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of building engineering, facilities maintenance, or similar experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems; reading blueprints and schematics; BAS preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and school safety policies; ability to conduct safety inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure safe, uninterrupted campus operations.
  • Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs from minor carpentry to complex technical troubleshooting.
  • Conduct regular hazard inspections and support emergency preparedness protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and school policies.
