Thisrole is ideal for an experienced facilities professional who enjoys workingindependently, solving problems, and applying a broad range of maintenanceskills across building systems.

Enjoy premium daytime hours (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM) withno overnight schedule, along with exceptional workplace amenitiesincluding complimentary barista service, on-site dining options, and amodern, high-profile work environment.

In this role, you'll apply a broad range of maintenance andrepair skills across building systems, including painting/patching,carpentry, roofing, and Electrical and plumbing. As part of CBRE'sEngineering & Technical Services team, you'll perform preventivemaintenance, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure the facility remains safe,efficient, and operating at peak performance.

What You'll Do
  • Assign work orders and estimate the time and materialsneeded to complete repairs. Maintain an inventory of adequate supplies andtools.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs to buildings, plumbing,structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and lighting systems. Keep facilityand building systems up to applicable standards as assigned.
  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations,governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations andwork safety.
  • Develop an energy management program. Ensure all systemsoperate in the most efficient manner.
  • Oversee and inspect the work performed by outsidecontractors. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients,co-workers, and/or supervisors.
  • Direct the implementation of a preventive maintenanceprogram to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed theirrated life. Perform repairs and emergency maintenance as needed.
  • Review and sign off on inspections of building systemsincluding fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure the operation of equipmentis within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribedby the client.
  • Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, bettermethods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
  • Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depthknowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.
  • Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertisein most or all areas within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistentwith CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others,often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point ofview.
  • Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project,or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided byfunctional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.

What You'll Need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job‑related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

Compensation

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including acandidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position$38.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the position isor $48.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidatewill depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will alsobe eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
