Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer for Nvidia's Santa Clara campus to maintain complex HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety systems.

The role emphasizes energy efficiency, preventive maintenance, and rapid response to critical issues to keep operations safe and reliable. Responsibilities include maintenance of mechanical and control systems, adherence to codes and safety policies, and mentoring others while aligning with CBRE RISE values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 4–5 years of related experience.
• EPA/ CFC universal certification required.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations and safety directives.
• Manage energy usage and drive energy efficiency initiatives.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and emergency repairs.
• Follow safe handling of hazardous materials and maintain a clean, safe workplace.
• Review building systems to ensure operation within design parameters.
• Lead by example in CBRE RISE values and foster collaboration.
• Apply advanced knowledge to mentor others and tackle complex problems.
