A $6,000 sign-on stay-on bonus accompanies a competitive hourly rate with experience-based pay. The position requires a high school diploma and a 3rd Grade Stationary Engineer License (2nd Grade preferred), plus 3 years boiler experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
Requires 3rd Grade Stationary Engineer License; 2nd Grade License preferred.
Requires valid driver's license.
Requires 3 years boiler experience as an operating engineer.
Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor boiler room and HVAC equipment; maintain logs and rounds.
Operate emergency generator and water treatment systems; monitor cooling towers and air handlers.
Repair and troubleshoot equipment; create parts orders for repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance on boilers and major plant equipment.
Prepare for boiler inspections, perform cleaning and repairs, and ensure safe operation.
Conduct life safety duties, follow safety programs, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Perform general maintenance including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and grounds duties.
