Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team onsite at commercial buildings in downtown Tampa.

You will lead maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and life-safety systems across multiple properties. The role requires 5+ years in facilities maintenance with complex systems and the ability to read blueprints, manage work orders, and travel within the metro area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ facilities maintenance experience with complex systems in commercial/medical settings.
• Trade certification or licensure preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and repairs of mechanical, electrical and life-safety systems including boilers, rooftop HVAC units, VAV systems, building automation, emergency generators and plumbing.
• Conduct preventive and emergency maintenance; complete work orders and upkeep tasks such as pressure washing and leaf blowing.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and service; use PC/smartphone to manage work-order system and email.
• Read blueprints; lift up to 50 lbs; climb ladders; respond on-call approx. every five weeks and travel to buildings within metro area.
• Exhibit strong organization, multitasking, verbal/written communication, and a positive, self-sufficient attitude.
