Grove Technical Resources is seeking a Building Performance Engineer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role involves delivering HVAC Fault Detection and Diagnostics support for global facilities, translating building analytics into actionable recommendations.
The ideal candidate will have a Baccalaureate degree and 2+ years in HVAC systems or facilities engineering. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with clients.
Building Performance Engineer delivers ongoing HVAC Fault Detection & Diagnostics (FDD) support for global facilities, translating building analytics into actionable maintenance and optimization improvements. The role partners with facilities, operations, and BAS teams to identify HVAC issues, develop operational and control optimization recommendations, and support analytics deployment to improve performance, comfort, and energy efficiency.
Minneapolis, Minnesota (4 days onsite and 1 remote). Preferred location: candidate located near the client facilities in Minnesota. Candidates located near other client sites, including Denver, North Haven, Tempe, Tijuana, and Puerto Rico, will also be considered. Must be willing to travel up to 10% to support site engagement, deployment activities, and collaboration.
