Job summary

Legends Global, a premier partner to live events and venues, is seeking a Facilities Foreperson to supervise day-to-day maintenance operations and lead facilities staff to ensure venues are safe, functional, and event-ready.

You will coordinate HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs, while ensuring compliance with safety standards and Legends Global policies. The role supports events, tenants, and guests and requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead facilities staff, including assigning daily work orders and event-related tasks.
• Coordinate building maintenance activities including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Ensure venues are properly set up, maintained, and restored before, during, and after events.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Respond promptly to facility-related issues during events and operational hours.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs to extend the life of building systems and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed to complete repairs and projects.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and Legends Global policies.
• Support emergency response efforts related to facility systems as required.

THE ROLE

The Facilities Foreperson is responsible for supervising day-to-day facility maintenance operations to ensure venues are safe, clean, functional, and event ready. This role leads facilities staff, coordinates maintenance activities, and works closely with venue operations to support events, tenants, and guests while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and lead facilities staff, including assigning daily work orders and event‑related tasks
• Coordinate building maintenance activities including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, carpentry, and general repairs
• Ensure venues are properly set up, maintained, and restored before, during, and after events
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns
• Respond promptly to facility‑related issues during events and operational hours
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs to extend the life of building systems and equipment
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends Global policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or a related field
• Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred

Skills and Abilities

• Working knowledge of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to read work orders, diagrams, and basic technical documentation
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced, event‑driven environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

WORKING CONDITIONS
