Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment and related systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Building Management Systems alarms, schedules, setpoints and trends.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Validate sensors, actuators, valves and dampers operation.
• Review operating data to identify inefficiencies and potential failures.
• Coordinate with controls contractors and service providers to resolve issues.
• Assist with testing, startup, commissioning and validation of new or modified systems.
• Support energy management by optimizing equipment scheduling and sequences.
• Maintain accurate work orders, records, and service reports.
• Respond to facility requests and emergencies following safety requirements.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Building Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and repairing building system operations and the performance of various areas including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You'll Do:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment, including air handling units, VAV systems, chillers, pumps, exhaust fans, VFDs, and associated mechanical equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Building Management Systems, including equipment alarms, operating schedules, setpoints, sensor readings, trends, and control sequences.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls-related equipment failures and identify appropriate corrective actions.
• Validate operation of sensors, actuators, control valves, dampers, and other field devices.
• Review BMS graphics and equipment operating data to identify abnormal conditions, equipment inefficiencies, and potential system failures.
• Coordinate with controls contractors, mechanical service providers, and remote BMS support teams to investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Assist with functional testing, equipment startup, commissioning, and validation of newly installed or modified systems.
• Support energy management initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve equipment scheduling, operating sequences, and overall system efficiency.
• Maintain accurate work orders, equipment records, preventive maintenance documentation, and technical service reports.
• Respond to facility service requests and equipment emergencies while maintaining compliance with CBRE and client safety requirements.
