Job summary

Urby is seeking a repair expert to join our maintenance team. You will work closely with the Director of Maintenance and Maintenance Managers to handle resident repair requests and building improvements.

You will complete work orders, install wood flooring, paint, make-ready vacant units, and perform minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC tasks while ensuring high quality and safety. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years’ experience in maintenance or related area.
• HVAC experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate verbally with tenants, management and co-workers.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Strong time management skills, attention to detail and thoroughness.
