Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking Building Science + Infrastructure Technicians to perform field tests and observations on construction projects. The position supports ongoing learning in building science, with opportunities to calibrate equipment, assist with report writing, and participate in project meetings across ECS teams and clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate/technical degree preferred.
• 0-2 years of related experience.
• Certifications preferred (NRCA, IIBEC, AWCI EIFS Inspector, ICC).
• Valid driver’s license if driving for ECS.
• Ability to lift 40+ pounds and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing and observations on building science projects.
• Communicate daily with ECS team, clients, and site reps.
• Attend project meetings with senior staff and clients as requested.
• Document test results and observations in reports.
• Calibrate and use field equipment; assist with maintenance.
