Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies North America is seeking a Project Engineer to support building controls projects by coordinating design, installation, and commissioning activities. You will review technical documentation, support subcontractors and field teams, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure quality across all project phases.

The role requires a technical degree or equivalent experience, proficiency with MS Office and ACAD, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent with HVAC/Mechanical/Electronics focus.
• MS Office proficiency and familiarity with basic software tools.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot circuitry.
• Understanding of AC power distribution (120V+).
• Experience with ACAD or similar design software.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Practical knowledge of HVAC systems and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design, installation, and commissioning activities to meet project requirements.
• Lead coordination with subcontractors and internal teams for documentation and validation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and installation issues during startup and commissioning.
• Review drawings and programming to ensure sequences of operations meet specs.
• Prepare startup and closeout documents; ensure backups and logs are complete.
• Monitor project schedules, estimates, and deliverables; communicate status to stakeholders.
