  • Create and modify system databases and field controller programs on platforms including Tridium N4, Honeywell IRM, JCI CCT, and others.
  • Develop and test complex software programs necessary for proper system operation.
  • Load and commission all system and network-level controllers.

Commissioning & Technical Support:
  • Conduct system validation for complete functionality and troubleshoot problems with other trades.
  • Manage and execute onsite system commissioning, functional testing, and system validation.
  • Provide technical assistance to field technicians, project managers, and customers throughout project execution.
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and optimizations as part of service agreements.
  • Analyze building performance data to identify energy-saving opportunities.

System Design & Security:
  • Configure graphical user interfaces (GUI) for system monitoring and control.
  • Implement security measures to protect BAS from cyber threats.
  • Configure BAS networks, including IP addressing, firewalls, and remote access.
  • Ensure integration with other building management platforms (SCADA, IoT, cloud-based solutions).

Documentation & Training:
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including network diagrams, system architecture layouts, sequences of operations, and as-built drawings.
  • Track field change information for the creation of as-built drawings and software.
  • Provide training and support to building operators and maintenance staff.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Collaboration:
  • Keep the installation team and customer informed of job progress and issues.
  • Work closely with mechanical engineers, electricians, IT teams, and facility managers.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for system upgrades and expansions.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing, programming, and commissioning BAS solutions using Tridium Niagara.
  • Proficiency in Tridium N4 platform programming preferred.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, lighting controls, energy management systems, and enterprise security solutions.
  • Solid understanding of IP networking fundamentals related to BAS deployments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent documentation abilities, including wiring diagrams, network schematics, and sequence of operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, well organized, and capable of handling multiple assignments.
  • Ability to relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience.

Preferred:
  • Niagara 4 Technical Certification (TCP).
  • Experience with Honeywell WEBs, Distech, Vykon, or other Niagara-based products.
  • Familiarity with smart building technologies and IoT devices.
  • Niagara 4 Enterprise Security Technical Certification Program.
