Job summary

The Technical College of the Lowcountry is seeking a Building Construction Technology Instructor who will deliver quality instruction and manage students in BCT courses. The role includes student advisement, curriculum development, and program management, reporting to the Division Dean of Industrial Technology.

You will work with the BCT advisory committee and maintain labs to state-of-the-art standards. An Associate’s Degree is preferred and a minimum of five years in the Building Construction

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience working in the Building Construction field as a residential builder, electrician, and/or plumber.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality instruction in Building Construction Technology courses.
• Advise and mentor students enrolled in Building Construction Technology programs.
• Participate in curriculum development and periodic evaluation of courses.
• Assist in developing and refining BCT curriculum.
• Support student recruitment and outreach activities for the BCT program.
• Maintain Building Construction Technology labs to state-of-art standards.
