The role covers inspecting materials and methods, checking falsework and concrete forms, reading blueprints, keeping detailed records, and reporting progress. Applicants must have two years of journey-level experience in building trades and legal authorization to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• TWO (2) YEARS of Journey level experience in the building construction trades.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
• Specialized experience in building construction inspection and supervisory work.
• Substitutions Allowed: Relevant substitutions described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements.
• Legal Authorization to work in the United States for State employment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and measure construction materials used and check methods employed.
• Inspect the erection of false work and concrete forms; accept or reject forms and equipment per specs.
• Keep detailed records and prepare routine inspection reports and monthly progress reports.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills

Two years journey level experience
